Choose a topic below and read the task carefully before you start. At C1 level, planning is an important part of good writing, so take a few minutes to organise your ideas and decide how you will structure your answer.
Try to develop your points rather than simply stating them. Use a range of sentence structures and linking expressions to show how your ideas are connected. Your choice of vocabulary and tone should also suit the purpose of the task and the person who will read it.
When you finish, read your work carefully. Check whether your ideas are fully developed, your paragraphs work well together, and your grammar, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation are accurate.
