Start Practising

Choose a topic below and start writing. Take a moment to plan what you want to say before you begin, and make sure your answer covers all the points in the task.

At B1 level, try to connect your ideas instead of writing only separate sentences. Words such as because, although, however, so, when, while and if can help you explain your ideas and make your writing easier to follow.

After you finish, read your answer again. Check your grammar, spelling and punctuation, and make sure your writing is clear.
